Professor Chen’s fields of specialization include theoretical corporate finance and industrial organization, with a focus on the investment banking industry.

Professor Chen joined McIntire in 2008 after three years as an Assistant Professor at Temple University’s Fox School of Business and Management and one year at The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business. He has published in leading academic journals and presented at numerous universities and conferences; his working papers can be found on the Social Science Research Network.
