Research Centers
The McIntire School of Commerce’s Center for Investors and Financial Markets (CIFM) fosters the exchange of ideas in finance through faculty research, student engagement, and outreach.
Established in 1999, the Center strives to advance the study and practice of finance through understanding investor behavior and the performance and structure of financial markets by facilitating collaborations among faculty, students, finance professionals, and policymakers.
With Center support, our faculty are studying important questions and developing creative solutions with leading scholars in finance, economics, accounting, strategy, and corporate governance.
