Professor Hamilton teaches management communication, specifically communication strategy, public relations, business writing, and presentation skills. Her interests include media relations, communication risk, leadership communication, and corporate and professional storytelling. She teaches in the School’s M.S. in MIT Program and M.S. in Global Commerce Program.
Professor Hamilton is co-author (with Mary Munter) of Guide to Managerial Communication, 10th edition (published by Pearson, 2013). In 2014, she was the guest co-editor of a communication-themed issue of Accounting Education: An International Journal and has been a visiting faculty member at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark. Her fiction has appeared in small literary journals.
