Zander Geronimos (McIntire '14)
Head of North America, PRODA.ai
Zander Geronimos is the Head of North America for PRODA, where he leads revenue and growth in the region for the leading platform of automating and standardizing critical property data for investors and lenders, working with Blackstone, PGIM, Hines, and many more across the real estate industry.
Alongside his work at PRODA, Zander is a member of the ULI Gold Technology Council and the Innovation Affinity Group of PREA, as well as a frequent panelist at Realcomm, CRETech, Blueprint, RETCON, and MIPIM. He is an active member in the broader startup community, serving as a board adviser for a selection of startups and an active angel investor.
Prior to joining PRODA, Zander was the Head of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development for MetaProp, the most active early venture capital firm in proptech. He led the relationships with strategic investors with nearly 20 billion square feet of real estate to drive capital market efforts across their fund vehicles and was the revenue conduit between their portfolio companies and the real estate ecosystem.
At the onset of his PropTech career, Zander was a Senior Solutions Engineer for the North American region for VTS, where he spent four years working across business development, strategic data analysis, marketing, and solutions engineering. His efforts supported the growth of VTS from a startup to a market leader, as the company became the leading technology platform in leasing and asset management, with over 12 billion square feet of commercial real estate space on the platform. His breadth of experience allowed him to work with sales, marketing, data, product engineering, and design. Before that, Zander started his career as a Real Estate Research Analyst for a hedge fund in Stamford, CT.
Zander holds a B.S. from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, with focuses on real estate and marketing. He is the Founder of the University of Virginia Alumni in Real Estate, a regular guest lecturer at the University on real estate technology topics, and a founding board member of UVA White Ruffin Byron Center for Real Estate. He also has guest lectured at many prominent universities, including Yale, UCLA, and Cornell.
