The Center promotes lifelong learning and meaningful engagement with our industry and alumni partners through programs and events on Grounds and around the world.
The White Ruffin Byron Center for Real Estate hosts the annual UVA Real Estate Conference to provide valuable and timely insight from thought leaders in the real estate industry and networking opportunities for UVA students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends.
The Center will host its 2025 Conference on Friday, Nov. 14, at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Keep an eye on the conference website for more details and to register this summer.
The Center honored Robert G. Byron, Chairman, Co-CEO, and Co-Founder of Blue Vista Capital Management, as the first recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award at the 2022 Conference, which took place Nov. 11, 2022. In recognition of his extraordinary leadership and tireless drive leading to the Center’s formation, this honor will be henceforward and forevermore be known as the White Ruffin Byron Center for Real Estate Robert G. Byron Distinguished Alumni Award.
In addition to offering career stewardship programming, the Center serves as the hub for real estate job information across Grounds.
