The McIntire School moved back to the Lawn in January of 2008. Our current home consists of a renovated Rouss Hall (designed by Stanford White, completed in 1898) and the addition of Robertson Hall (designed by Hartman-Cox, completed in 2008). The connected buildings create a 156,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility with contemporary classrooms and views of the Rotunda.
Because our innovative building is close to the Lawn, you're never far from the heart of UVA. Home to 16 classrooms, 16 group study rooms, five general spaces and specialty-use computer labs, the Rouss & Robertson Halls facility offers many collaborative spaces for brainstorming and meetings. And if you're looking to speak to your professors, the nearby faculty offices are located in-house as well.
A guiding principle of the McIntire School is our integrated use of technology to deliver better instruction. To that end, curriculum meaningfully applies computing, audiovisual, and security technologies, as well as a host of subject-specific programs and applications selected by faculty.

In keeping with the tradition of Thomas Jefferson's model and the McIntire School of Commerce's vision of developing well-rounded students, we support the diversity of art and its interaction with commerce. The John P. and Stephanie F. Connaughton Gallery, located on the third floor of Robertson Hall, is the perfect space for showcasing art generated by McIntire and UVA students. Featured exhibits in this art gallery are on a rotating basis and contingent upon the McIntire Art and Commerce Committee's approval.
