Areas of Expertise:

Professor Gray has a background in electronic commerce and online information services and has worked in a variety of information technology and management consulting positions. His areas of expertise include information systems strategy, IS project management, and systems analysis and design. His current research includes individual and organizational impacts of knowledge management and knowledge management systems, virtual teams, computer-mediated communication, and online communities of practice.

Professional Activities:

Professor Gray is a member of the editorial review boards of Organization Science and Information Technology & People, has served as a track chair for the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS), and is a regular presenter at various national and international conferences. His recent research has been conducted at a variety of Fortune 100 companies and has been published in top-tier academic journals.
