McIntire’s Information Technology concentration reflects our awareness that IT is an increasingly costly—and critical—organizational resource. Our IT concentration helps prepare students for careers as business analysts and consultants by teaching them how to use their knowledge of leading-edge information technology to solve challenges in all areas of business, including finance, accounting, and marketing. Students particularly focus on developing their skills and knowledge in the areas of project management, consulting, systems development, database management, and organizational change.
