Program Description 

The McIntire M.S. in Accounting Program at the University of Virginia has long been recognized for its innovative curriculum, world-class faculty, and dedication to preparing students for professional practice.

Our curriculum has been carefully designed to help students acquire not only the necessary specialized technical knowledge, but also a better understanding of the broad context within which professional decisions are made. Classes are taught in a rigorous yet informal seminar format that fosters a culture of collaboration among students and between students and faculty.
