Paul K. Meyer Paul K. Meyer is a Managing Director
with Navigant Consulting and the national co-practice leader for the
Intellectual Property Group. Mr. Meyer was previously the President and
co-founder of Tucker Alan. He is a Certified Public Accountant (in
Virginia and California) and Certified Fraud Examiner as well as
Accredited in Business Valuation (CPA-ABV). As a Consulting Professor,
Mr. Meyer has taught a graduate course at Stanford University’s School
of Engineering for the last 15 years.
Mr. Meyer has over two decades of experience consulting on financial,
accounting, economic, and damages matters, as well as significant expert
testimony experience and credentials related to intellectual property
damage and valuation issues. He has valued various forms of intellectual
property, including patents, copyrights, and trademarks, and determined
reasonable royalties. In addition, he frequently lectures on damages and
valuation issues, including presentations given at conferences for the
Licensing Executives Society (LES), the Practicing Law Institute (PLI),
Law Seminars International (LSI), and the Sedona Patent Conference. He
has testified in over 200 depositions and approximately 60 trials and
major arbitrations, including over 30 jury trials. Mr. Meyer was
referenced in The Wall Street Journal in March 2007 as a leading
expert in his field of intellectual property valuation.
Mr. Meyer has testified in trial and major arbitrations, including jury
trials in various state and federal courts throughout the United States,
including the International Trade Commission (ITC) and the Court of
Federal Claims.
Mr. Meyer has a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia
(Charlottesville, Va.).
